Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work in support of a federal government customer. This position will support design, development, and testing for custom software solutions across multiple system components and applications. Qualified candidates will have experience implementing microservices with Python. A current security clearance with full scope polygraph is required for consideration.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work as part of a blended government and contractor team supporting software solutions
- Participate in creating an implementation or integration approach for applications and components
- Support translating system requirements into design specifications
- Serve as the primary support for installation of application releases into production
- Provide hands-on design and code applications according to programming standards and interface specifications
- Support program documentation, as required
- Support program deliverables, as assigned
- U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required for consideration
- Bachelor's degree; equivalent years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3 years of related full stack development experience with:
- Python service or API development
- Front-end development experience using one or more of these technologies: ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Data layer experience using MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQL
- Containerization experience using Docker, Kubernetes or Podman platforms
- Experience developing, deploying and maintaining microservices on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor team environment
- Ability to work on-site in Tysons Corner area
